The ORM (Oak Hill Collaborative Robotics Makerspace) is a group of makers comprised of software and robotics engineers, sensor designers, web developers, project managers, technology educators, and students. These volunteers are excited and committed to exploring new ideas on how technology can be used to benefit our community. Robots are a technology that has been around for many many years. But most of what we believe about robots is that they will "take our jobs". But how can robots benefit the average person and our community? The ORM is committed to educating our community on just that! ORM, through several projects, are exploring how robots can be used to improve our community with such projects as water monitoring/analysis of watersheds in Northeast Ohio. ORM is dedicated to use robot technology responsibly that will cause no harm to people, animals, or the environment.
